Patrick O'Young

Patrick O'Young has a diverse work experience in the medical research field. Patrick started their career as a casual research officer at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in 2013 and continued to work there as a honours student in 2014. In 2015, they moved to the Centenary Institute, where they worked as a research assistant until 2018. During this time, they also participated in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET) as an English Second Language Teacher from 2018 to 2021. Currently, they are a research assistant at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, and starting in April 2023, they will be taking on the role of a project coordinator.

Patrick O'Young completed their Bachelor of Advanced Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology at UNSW from 2011 to 2014.
