Aaron Olson has over a decade of work experience, starting with their role as a User Experience Developer at The Detroit News from 2010 to 2013. Aaron led the front-end development and interaction design for the website's redesign, utilizing agile methodology to enhance the user experience and create on-brand design solutions.
Afterwards, Aaron joined GSTV, where they held various positions. From 2013 to 2014, they served as a Senior Web Developer, developing a visual system for internal products and leading the redesign of the public-facing website. Aaron then became the Director of User Experience from 2014 to 2016, where they recruited and retained a team and implemented agile software development methodologies for efficient delivery of internal tools. Aaron then became the Director of Product from 2016 to 2018, managing the evaluation and integration of technology platforms, collaborating with hardware partners, and improving current integrations.
Continuing their career at GSTV, Aaron became the Vice President of Business Capabilities from 2018 to 2020, developing the vision for the sales stack and formalizing the strategy to drive revenue growth. Following this role, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Transformation and Product from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Aaron is the EVP of Technology and Product at GSTV, responsible for overseeing technology and product development.
Aaron Olson attended Michigan State University from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.
