Doug Fraser has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Doug began their career as a Marketing professional at Edmonton Telephones in 1986. Doug then moved on to Motorola, where they worked as the Manager of Business Management DataTAC for a decade. Following that, they joined Castelton Network Systems as the Director of Sales and Support. In 1998, they became the General Manager at eDispatch / AirIQ. In 2003, they became the Vice President of Business Development at Idelix Software Inc, a position they held until 2006. Doug then joined Gatekeeper Systems Inc as the Vice President of Product Management, holding this role until 2007, when they became a Global Product Manager at Honeywell. In 2009, they returned to Gatekeeper Systems Inc as the Vice President of Product Management and Programs. Additionally, they have worked as a Ski Instructor at Whistler Blackcomb since 2012.

Doug Fraser completed their education with an MBA in Finance from the Ivey Business School at Western University (1985-1987). Prior to that, they earned a M.Eng in Electrical Engineering (1982-1985) and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (1975-1982) from the University of Alberta. Additionally, they obtained CSIA - Level 2 Ski Instructor certification in 2011.
