Alicia Glen

Alicia Glen, the Co-Chair at Gateway Development Commission, is overseeing the development of the Gateway Program to enhance the rail link between New York, New Jersey, and the Northeast Corridor. Prior to this role, as the Founder & Managing Principal at MSquared, Alicia focused on real estate development and investment projects in growing cities. As the Deputy Mayor for Housing and Economic Development at the City of New York, Alicia led efforts to grow the city's economy and provide affordable housing. At Goldman Sachs, Alicia was the Managing Director of the Urban Investment Group, investing in underserved markets. With a background in law from Columbia Law School, Alicia has held various roles in legal departments and has a Bachelor's degree from Amherst College.

Gateway Development Commission (GDC)

The Gateway Program is the most urgent infrastructure program in the country – a comprehensive rail investment program that will improve commuter and intercity services, add needed resiliency and create new capacity for the busiest section of the Northeast Corridor (NEC). The NEC is the most heavily used passenger rail line in the country hosting more than 2,200 train movements and 800,000 passenger trips daily. The Gateway Development Commission (GDC) is a single-purpose bi-State agency with Board members representing Amtrak and the States of New York and New Jersey. GDC is the project sponsor for the Hudson Tunnel Project.
