Tayana Reyes is currently a Senior Contracts Manager at Gateway Development Commission, where Tayana oversees various projects such as the 8th Avenue Project. With a background in program management and construction coordination, Tayana has worked on prominent projects like the MTA East Side Access Project and energy plant construction for SNC-Lavalin. Their experience also includes roles at companies like A.G. Consulting Engineering, PC, HNTB, and Liz Claiborne, where Tayana managed multi-million-dollar renovation projects and assisted project managers on various assignments nationally and internationally. Tayana holds an MBA in International Business from SUNY New Paltz School of Education.

The Gateway Program is the most urgent infrastructure program in the country – a comprehensive rail investment program that will improve commuter and intercity services, add needed resiliency and create new capacity for the busiest section of the Northeast Corridor (NEC). The NEC is the most heavily used passenger rail line in the country hosting more than 2,200 train movements and 800,000 passenger trips daily. The Gateway Development Commission (GDC) is a single-purpose bi-State agency with Board members representing Amtrak and the States of New York and New Jersey. GDC is the project sponsor for the Hudson Tunnel Project.
