Dana Snyder

Dana Snyder has a diverse background in the field of health and wellness, with experience in various roles. They started their career as a Counselor and Leadership Team Member at Camp War Eagle, where they taught activities classes and lived in cabins with at-risk and low-income campers. Following this, they served as an Aquatic Instructor at Cox Health Meyer Center. In 2011, Dana became a Summer Program Director at Nixa Parks and Recreation, coordinating programs for children. They then moved on to Rockwood Community Education as a Recreation Program Manager. Since 2013, Dana has been working at Gateway Region YMCA, where they currently hold the position of Health and Wellness Director.

Dana Snyder completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Recreation, Sport, and Park Administration from Missouri State University in the years 2006 to 2011. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Sports Management from Missouri Baptist University, completing it in the year 2012.
