Gavilan College
Dr. Pedro Avila serves as the Superintendent/President of Gavilan College since July 2022, following a tenure as Vice President of Student Services/Assistant Superintendent at Santa Rosa Junior College from February 2017 to July 2022. Dr. Avila’s experience includes key roles such as Associate Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Management at State Center Community College District, Vice President of Student Services at West Hills College Coalinga, and Vice Chancellor of Planning and Enrollment Management at West Hills Community College District. Dr. Avila also gained valuable experience in web development and technical support early in the career, with positions at GRUNDFOS and California State University, Fresno.
