Osama Akour is a Project Engineer at GCC LAB since July 2021, specializing in technical services and project management, overseeing all aspects of project scope, support, budget, and timeline. Previously, Osama worked as an Electrical Engineer and Project Engineer at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories from February 2018 to July 2021, where a significant contribution was made to protection projects in the GCC region, delivering over 21 projects on time and within budget. Prior experience includes a role as a Testing and Commissioning Engineer at Saudi Services For Electro Mechanic Works, and a Testing Engineer at SEP System House Factory for Electric Panels. Osama holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Jazan University and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA with a concentration in Finance at Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business & Entrepreneurship.

GCC Lab is an Electrical Testing Laboratory which is world class Electrical Product Testing and Services Hub in the GCC and MENA region, Independent authority for testing and certificating High-Voltage, Medium-Voltage and Low-Voltage electrical equipment, Act as a third party for failure investigations and arbitration, provide Low Voltage calibration services for electrical equipment and testing tools and certification courses for engineers and technicians. GCCELAB will serve as a corner stone to enable major electrical equipment manufacturing the GCC and the surrounding region by offering cost-effective and world-class testing & certification services to ensure the highest levels of equipment safety, reliability and efficiency. The facility will include specialized labs to support applied Research & Development and innovation initiative in the region, as well as providing practical training. Additionally, the Lab will be designed to deliver on-site inspection and efficiency assessment for electrical equipment.
