Gerbert van der Weijde

Gerbert van der Weijde is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Senior Director of BESS Business Europe at GCL System Integration since July 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Head of Solution Sales at Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG from July 2022 to June 2025, and various managerial positions at Uniper from 2016 to 2022, where responsibilities ranged from sales and origination to innovation management. Gerbert's career began at E.ON, where roles included Technology & Innovation Manager and Funding Agreement Manager for significant projects.
