Mark Roberts

Mark Roberts has over 25 years of experience in research and development, currently serving as the Director of Research & Development at GCP Applied Technologies since 2012. In this role, Mark is responsible for the introduction of new hardware and algorithms for Verifi, an Industrial IoT business, focusing on reducing the carbon footprint of ready-mix concrete. Previously, Mark held various positions at GCP, including Director of Algorithm Development R&D and Manager of Analytics, where significant contributions included expanding business operations and developing real-time IoT solutions. Mark's earlier roles, starting as an R&D Technician and progressing to R&D Master Black Belt, centered around Six Sigma methodologies and manufacturing excellence. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and completed the Chief Technology Officer Program at Wharton Executive Education.
