Xia Cao

Xia Cao is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in chemical engineering, holding the position of Research Director for Pre-Applied and Liquids at GCP since February 2016, following a tenure as Principal Scientist at W. R. Grace from 2014 to 2016 and previous roles at W. R. Grace as Sr. R&D Chemist and R&D Chemist from 2005 to 2014. Earlier in the career, Xia worked as a Research Engineer at the Nanoscale Science and Engineering Center from 2002 to 2005 and as a Graduate Student at The Ohio State University from 1998 to 2002. Education includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University, an MS in Chemical Engineering from Zhejiang University, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the same institution.
