Graeme Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Graeme started their career as an ASIC Design Engineer at GEC Plessey Semiconductor in 1995, where they focused on RTL design, simulation, synthesis, and layout of semiconductor chips. Graeme then joined STMicroelectronics in 1998 as an ASIC Design Engineer, where they specialized in VLSI design and worked on turnkey digital ASIC solutions for key customers. In 2001, Graeme took on the role of Senior Design Engineer at STMicroelectronics, responsible for managing DOCSIS Cable Modem certification and contributing to the specification of the CableLabs DOCSIS 3. During their time at STMicroelectronics, they also acted as a Visiting Engineer at CableLabs, collaborating on R&D development for next-generation cable products. In 2004, Graeme joined STMicroelectronics full-time as a Certification Manager, focusing on certification processes for cable modems. After more than a decade at STMicroelectronics, Graeme transitioned to GDS Link, LLC in 2016, where they initially served as a Client Partner before taking on the role of VP Delivery in 2017.
