Jan Dubovec

Jan Dubovec is a Senior Staff Engineer at GE Aviation, with experience leading global design and repair teams focused on critical components such as rotating parts and turbine blades for both cold and hot engine sections. Prior to this, Jan worked at Ford Motor Company as a Power Train/Design Engineer, receiving six Henry Ford Technology Awards for innovative technologies in automotive applications. Earlier in Jan's career, Jan was a Transmission and Sensors Design Engineer at General Motors, specializing in the design and testing of transmission components and magnetic sensors. Jan holds a Master's degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Zilina in Czechoslovakia.
