Jaylen James

Jaylen James, Ph.D., currently serves as the Lead Materials and Process Engineer at GE Aerospace, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Jaylen co-founded Xplosion Technology and worked as a Doctoral Student and Researcher at Texas A&M University and the Air Force Research Laboratory, focusing on Uncertainty Quantification in material performance. Jaylen's extensive experience includes research and development across several companies, including Hx Innovations, Chevron, ExxonMobil, and Shell, where significant contributions to automated testing protocols, vessel screening systems, and integrity monitoring tools were made. Jaylen holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University.
