Oladapo Ogunbodede

Oladapo Ogunbodede is an accomplished engineer with a diverse background in aerospace and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as an Advanced Lead Engineer at GE Aerospace since May 2023, Ogunbodede previously held the position of Control Engineer at ThorDrive and conducted post-doctoral research in control systems at GE Research. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University at Buffalo, an M.Sc. from Queen Mary University of London, and a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University. As a former lecturer at Kwara State University, Ogunbodede specialized in topics related to aeronautics, focusing on unmanned aerial vehicle applications. Research interests encompass practical applications of UAVs in areas such as traffic monitoring and agriculture, complemented by mentoring roles for student projects in rocket and UAV development.
