Guiovanny Amell holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical & Industrial Engineering from Ryerson University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad del Atlántico. Currently, Guiovanny serves as a Senior Staff Manager for Material Planning and Execution at GE Vernova, a position held since September 2020, and previously worked as a Manufacturing Operations Manager. Prior experience includes roles as a Methods Engineer at BOMBARDIER, where responsibilities involved identifying and implementing projects to enhance business operations, and as an Industrial Engineer at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, focusing on optimization and strategic project execution. Guiovanny also contributed to academia as an Engineering GA at Ryerson University, where tutoring and guidance were provided to students on engineering analyses. Earlier experience includes a Project Engineer position at Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG, coordinating installation and upgrade projects in various industries.
