Payman Shamsollahi

Payman Shamsollahi is an experienced professional in power systems engineering, currently serving as Delivery Manager and Principal Services Engineer at GE Vernova since November 2015. In this role, Payman oversees projects such as the California ISO Settlements Project and leads initiatives related to ISO-NE electricity market systems. Previous positions include Corporate Project Engineer at Alstom Grid, contributing to upgrades for ISO New England markets, and Business Analyst at Utility Integration Solution, focusing on demand response software systems. Payman's extensive background also features roles at AREVA T&D, Alstom ESCA, Cegelec ESCA, and the Ministry of Energy of Iran, covering various aspects of power systems including balancing, market optimization, and network design. Payman holds a Ph.D. in Power Systems Stability from the University of Calgary, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran.
