Michael Wardwell

Michael Wardwell has extensive experience in the gaming industry, currently serving as Creative Director and Senior Producer at Gearbox Software since February 1999. Wardwell's career includes various roles such as Game Designer, Producer, Director, and Lead Level Designer, contributing significantly to multiple projects. In addition to work at Gearbox, Wardwell owns Two-Bit Titans, LLC, a mobile game development business, which achieved success with the release of the game Tiny Prison in 2014. Previously, Wardwell founded Wardwell Properties, LLC, operating as a real estate investor and property manager. Additionally, from January 1997 to January 2004, Wardwell held the title of E-sports League Commissioner at the Cyberathlete Professional League, playing a pivotal role in the early development of e-sports. Wardwell began the career in game design as a Level Designer at Ritual Entertainment from February 1997 to August 1998.
