Sharib Rao

Sharib Rao has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Sharib started their career as a Sales Representative at Philips in 1998, where they worked with distributors and retailers for electronic products in the North India market. Sharib then joined Parryware Roca in 2001 as a Sr. Sales Officer, responsible for managing 12 dealers and 250 retailers in the south and west Delhi market.

In 2005, Sharib moved to Mac Al Gurg LLC as an Assistant Sales Manager, where they focused on meeting consultants and architects to secure specifications for Sanitary and Drainage products. Sharib also built relationships with contractors and interacted with governmental bodies for approvals. In 2008, they joined ACO as a Regional Sales Manager, handling distributor sales operations in the UAE and Oman market. Sharib also worked closely with consultants, architects, and government bodies for approvals.

Since 2012, Sharib has been working at Geberit as the Head of Specification Sales - Middle East. In this role, they manage the Gulf region, actively collaborating with key architecture and design practices to secure specifications for projects in the Middle East and Africa. Sharib has built close relationships with more than 300 architects and designers from various renowned firms.

Sharib Rao completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Maths & Chemistry from CCS University in Meerut, India, from 1994 to 1997. Later, from 1999 to 2001, Sharib pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Sales, Distribution, and Marketing Operations, General from Jamia Hamdard.
