Mark Herron

Mark Herron is an experienced executive search consultant currently working at Gecko Hospitality since October 2023. Prior to this role, Mark served as an executive search consultant at gpac from July 2022 to October 2023, where expertise included comprehensive search and recruitment services. Mark also has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, having worked as a hospitality consultant at MLB Hospitality Consulting from May 2011 to July 2022, focusing on asset management, executive recruiting, and market analysis. Mark has held several management positions, including general manager roles at Schulte Hospitality Group and Davidson Hospitality Group, and vice president of lodging at American Skiing Company Resort Properties LLC. Additionally, Mark contributed to education as an adjunct professor in hospitality management at Des Moines Area Community College from September 2016 to September 2017. Mark holds a degree from the University of Iowa.
