Sam Westenberg is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in hardware and firmware roles. Currently serving as the Lead Electrical Engineer at Gecko Robotics since June 2019, Sam has also held multiple engineering positions at the same company, including Electrical Hardware Lead and Electrical Engineer III. Previous experience includes internships at Tesla as a Firmware Integration Intern and a leadership role as President of Carnegie Mellon Racing. Additionally, Sam has contributed to hardware engineering at Acacia Communications Inc. and has completed a co-op at Teradyne, along with serving as a teaching assistant for glassblowing classes at Diablo Glass School. Sam holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
