Donna Robichaud

SVP, Development Strategy at Geenex Solar

Donna Robichaud is a seasoned professional who uses her expertise and passion to develop utility-scale solar projects for Geenex Solar. Her broad utility executive experience in strategy, business development, asset management, operations management, and generation interconnection helped Geenex Solar grow a pipeline of utility-scale projects exceeding 6.5 gigawatts in five states.

After working twenty-three years at Duke Energy, in 2012 she started a consulting firm to help renewable energy companies reach their goals of developing Qualified Facility solar projects in North Carolina up to 20 MW in size. Starting in 2014, she worked primarily with Geenex Solar to develop utility-scale transmission connected projects in PJM Interconnection and other independent transmission control areas. Donna leads the selection of location and size of solar projects along with navigating a team through state regulatory requirements. Donna has a Bachelor of Science in Math and Physics from St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana, a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical) from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, and a Masters of Business Administration from Northern Kentucky University.
