As manager of land development, Jim Harris plays a vital role for Geenex Solar in both land acquisition and community engagement activities. Jim very much enjoys promoting the growth of renewable energy while knowing he is helping to provide landowners with a stable and secure financial future for their families.
Jim is a native and lifetime resident of eastern North Carolina and attended both East Carolina and North Carolina State Universities. With a long career history in agriculture, land surveying and real estate, Jim also served on the Nash County Planning and Zoning Board for nine years. This varied land use experience gives Jim a unique perspective on solar development and allows him to easily convey the benefits of converting land to solar to the prospective landowners.
