Shuaib Atique

Shuaib Atique currently serves as the General Counsel for Ultrasound at GE HealthCare, a position held since February 2024. Previously, Shuaib held the role of Associate General Counsel at Baxter International Inc., leading the legal team for the global renal business from September 2021 to February 2024. Notable prior experience includes serving as Senior Counsel at Abbott for their diagnostics businesses and as Senior Corporate Counsel at Hollister Incorporated, where responsibilities included supporting business development transactions. Shuaib began a legal career focused on intellectual property as an Associate Attorney at Kirkland & Ellis and has also worked for Goodwin and Knobbe Martens on patent litigation matters. Shuaib gained early legal experience as an extern at the Office of General Counsel for the Secretary of Defense and an intern at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
