Benjamin Hohmuth is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in medical informatics and hospital medicine. Currently serving as the Chief Medical Informatics Officer at Geisinger since August 2013, previous roles include Associate Chief Medical Informatics Officer and Director of the Department of Hospital Medicine. Prior to Geisinger, Benjamin held positions at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, where responsibilities included Section Chief of Hospital Medicine and Director of Inpatient Medical Education. Experience also encompasses hospitalist roles at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates and emergency medicine at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital. Benjamin completed a Master of Public Health at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, and holds a Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers University - Newark and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan.
