Sharon Gibbs currently serves as the Vice President of Radiology Operations at Geisinger, a position held since October 2022, where responsibilities include system-wide leadership in radiology. Prior to this, Sharon Gibbs had an extensive career at VCU Health from 1999 to October 2022, culminating in the role of Senior Director of EHR Operations, where engagement with executive leadership and IT facilitated the design and implementation of a $400 million electronic health record system. Additionally, Sharon Gibbs served as Director of Radiology/Imaging Services, overseeing a $500 million budget while leading strategic initiatives in diagnostic and therapeutic imaging. Earlier in the career, Sharon Gibbs held the position of Manager of Nuclear Medicine/PET Services. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Health Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Radiation Science, both obtained from Virginia Commonwealth University.
