Aahnik Baruah

Aahnik Baruah has a diverse work experience. Aahnik started their career as an Assistant Manager at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, where they managed press die development projects. Aahnik then joined ITW as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, where they redesigned warehouse layouts, developed productivity metrics, and improved inventory accuracy. Aahnik later worked at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Project Assistant for the Quick Response Manufacturing Center. Aahnik then moved on to General Mills, where they held roles as a Supply Chain Analytics Consultant and a Supply Chain Optimization and Analytics Lead. Aahnik then transitioned to Walmart as a Senior Manager, focusing on supply chain optimization. Currently, they are working at Gelato, where they have held positions as Head of Network Optimization, Head of Network Design and Management, and is currently serving as the VP of Network Design and Management. In addition to their industry experience, Aahnik also started a new adventure in 2021 by moving to London from the US.

Aahnik Baruah obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from PSG College of Technology, from 2007 to 2011. Aahnik later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in SQL Essential Training from LinkedIn, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from ASQ, and CPIM - Basics of Supply Chain Management from APICS.
