James Owen is an experienced engineer with a focus on automotive engineering technology. Currently serving as a Rolling Stock Engineer at Gemco Rail since November 2021, James has previously worked as an Engineer at MOTUM True Motion Simulators from February 2019 to July 2021. James also contributed as a Vehicle Dynamics Team Member at RMIT Racing between January 2020 and November 2020, and served in the Aerodynamics Team at RMIT Electric Racing from March 2017 to March 2019. Beginning an electrical career as an Electrical Apprentice at GNA Electrical from January 2015 to October 2016, James holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Automotive Engineering Technology from RMIT University, completed in 2020. Secondary education was attained at Lara Secondary College from 2011 to 2016.
