Michiel Muis

Michiel Muis has extensive experience in public administration and communication, currently serving as Wethouder for Wonen, Duurzaamheid, Kwaliteit leefomgeving, vergunning en handhaving, and Burgerparticipatie at Gemeente Lansingerland since March 2010. In addition to this role, Michiel holds several unpaid positions on various boards, including DCMR Milieudienst Rijnmond and Recreatieschap Rottemeren. Prior to this, Michiel was a Raadslid for D66, contributing to committees related to social affairs and spatial development. Previous professional experience includes positions as Teammanager Onderwijs at Gemeente Rotterdam, Teamleider communicatie at Staedion and Omgevingsdienst Zuid-Holland Zuid, and extensive advisory roles at Provincie Zuid-Holland.
