Lewis Marshall

Lewis Marshall is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware engineering and research and development. Currently serving as Senior Director of Hardware Engineering at Genalyte, Inc. since February 2025, Lewis previously held the position of Director of Platforms Technology Development at Bionano from May 2023 to February 2025. Prior to Bionano, Lewis had a long tenure at Purigen Biosystems, where roles included Vice President of R&D, Senior Manager of Fluidic Applications, and Engineer from July 2013 to June 2023. Lewis began academic pursuits as a Graduate Student at Stanford University from 2009 to 2012 and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University in 2013. Lewis also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
