Magdalena Cichewicz, PhD, is a Scientist II at GeneFab with experience in promoter engineering. Previously, at Senti Biosciences and Bio-Rad Laboratories, Magdalena held senior scientist positions. Magdalena began their career as a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Davis, focusing on histone mutations. Magdalena also has experience as a research associate at the University of Virginia, where Magdalena studied long non coding RNA. Magdalena holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Virginia and a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from Jagiellonian University. Additionally, Magdalena has taught undergraduate courses in biochemistry and immunology as a teaching assistant and adjunct lecturer.
