Carla Baja (She/Her/Hers)

Carla has been working in the field of talent management and human resources for more than two decades. She has held various roles with both the nonprofit healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, ranging from recruitment to workforce insights and planning, strategy, and business transformation. Carla is currently a Principal Talent Partner and DEI Capability Lead at Genentech where she leads end-to-end global recruitment for various functions within Pharma Technical Operations such as engineering, MSAT, quality, supply chain, manufacturing, facilities/utilities, early clinical development, regulatory, technical/process development, and ancillary support functions. Carla is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion with the aim of helping people connect to meaningful work.
