Corey Carter

Corey Carter serves as the Vice President of Global Product Development specializing in Lung, Agnostic, Skin, and Rare Cancers at Genentech since August 2020, where responsibilities include developing scientific strategies to enhance cancer treatment. Previously, Corey held various leadership roles, including Executive Board Member at Prothex, Inc. and Chief Executive Officer at EpicentRx. Corey's extensive clinical background includes positions as a Medical Oncologist at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where contributions involved developing the Thoracic Oncology and Immune-Oncology programs. As a retired Physician Officer with the US Navy, Corey attained the rank of Commander and has held academic roles at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Corey’s educational qualifications include an MD from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Washington.
