Ellie Hu

Ellie Hu is a highly experienced quality assurance and engineering professional with a robust background in the medical device industry. Currently serving as a Principal QA Tech Manager at Genentech since June 2020, Ellie previously held positions such as Senior Quality Engineer at RefleXion Medical, where notable achievements included leading quality engineering for new product introductions and creating quality processes for a radiotherapy system. Earlier experience includes significant contributions at Evalve, Inc., Boston Scientific, and Medtronic Ablation Frontiers, where roles involved risk management, complaint handling, and design verification/validation. Ellie holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Biological System Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
