Hany Girgis

Hany Girgis is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in the biotechnology industry and academia. Currently serving as Scientist IV at Genentech since February 2014, Hany has held several positions, including Senior Principal Scientific Researcher, Principal Scientific Researcher, Senior Scientific Researcher, and Senior Research Associate. Prior to this role, Hany was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at Harvard Medical School from January 2009 to May 2011, where a nomination for Junior Fellow in the Harvard Society of Fellows was received, and membership in a research team that won the Martin Prize for outstanding achievements was achieved. Hany holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biological Sciences from Cornell University.
