Hoang Nguyen

Hoang Nguyen is a Senior HPC Engineer, Applications at Genentech since March 2025, previously serving as a Senior Principal Engineer and DevOps at TandemAI from September 2022 to February 2025. Between January 2016 and September 2022, Hoang worked as a Research Software Engineer at The University of Queensland, and earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Software Developer at Nomovok Ltd. in 2010 and a Programmer at the Department of Energy Technology, CSIRO in the same year. Hoang holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from The University of Queensland, obtained from February 2012 to February 2016, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Monash University, completed in 2009.
