Jessica Grandner is a Principal Scientist in Computational Chemistry at Genentech, having held the position since March 2018. Prior to this, Jessica served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Southern California, focusing on computational small molecule design and modeling of GPCRs. From June 2013 to July 2017, Jessica was a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles, where work involved protein/enzyme modeling, molecular dynamics simulations, and density functional theory in collaboration with various research groups. Jessica began their research career as a Student Researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, exploring new trace detection methods. Jessica holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physical Organic Chemistry from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Maryland.
