Meenakshi Doma

Meenakshi Doma, PhD, is a seasoned professional in genomics and biopharmaceuticals, currently serving as Sr. Principal Genomics Lead at Genentech since May 2019, focusing on individualized genomic medicines and building capabilities for cell and gene therapies. Prior experience includes roles as an Expert Genomics Application Scientist at Agilent Technologies and as an RNA Specialist at Transcriptic. Doma's academic background encompasses a postdoctoral fellowship and staff scientist position at the California Institute of Technology, where research centered on single-cell transcriptomics and proteomics. Doma completed doctoral research at the University of Arizona, discovering the No-Go decay mechanism in RNA quality control. Additionally, Doma has pursued executive education in business and product management at the University of California, Berkeley, alongside ongoing high-impact leadership studies.
