Mrittika Bhaumik

Mrittika Bhaumik is an Associate Director of CMC Strategy at Instil Bio since February 2021, specializing in the development of tumor infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy through collaboration with Technical Development, Quality, and Manufacturing, and has contributed to multiple regulatory submissions. From April 2019 to January 2021, Mrittika served as a Scientist in Process and Product Development at Allogene Therapeutics, focusing on late-stage process characterization and tech transfer of allogeneic CAR-T cell therapies. Prior experience includes roles at Kite Pharma as Senior Engineer I overseeing technology transfer and process development for next-generation CAR-T therapies, Engineer I at Genentech leading purification process development for bispecific antibodies, and Associate Engineer at Bristol-Myers Squibb providing manufacturing support for downstream processes. Mrittika started the career as an intern at Bayer Pharmaceuticals and holds a BS with a double major in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
