Ruwan Liyanage

Ruwan Liyanage is an experienced professional in production planning and management with a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa. Currently serving as a Sr Master Planner at Generac Power Systems since February 2018, Ruwan has previously held roles such as Master Planner and Sr. Production Planner. Prior to Generac, Ruwan worked at Berco of America, Inc. as Planning Supervisor and at Alpha Apparels Ltd as Production Planning Manager, where responsibilities included preparing production forecasts, coordinating deliveries, and optimizing inventory. Ruwan's earlier experience includes positions at Sirio Ltd and Omega Line Ltd as a Sr. Production Planner/Scheduler and Production Planner/Scheduler, respectively, along with foundational experience as a Chemical & Process Engineer at CIC Paints Ltd. Ruwan has also enhanced expertise through additional education, including a TPM Practitioner certification from the Institute of Lean Management Sri Lanka.
