Tyler Hartrich is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user experience design and education. Serving as the Senior Instructor Lead for User Experience Design at General Assembly since 2016, Tyler manages a team of over 40 design instructors and oversees the development of a comprehensive UX programs. Tyler is also the Founder of Forthward, a collective dedicated to empowering emerging design leaders. With a rich history of speaking engagements on various topics including design education and sustainability, Tyler has contributed to numerous conferences and panels since 2006. Previous roles include Director of Product Design at Imperative, Lead Product Designer at FARMIGO, and Design Leadership at Hartrich Design. Tyler holds an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise and a B.S. in City & Regional Planning.
