Sunny Sarkar

Sunny Sarkar is a Flight Controls Software Engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems since July 2022, with previous experience as a Satellite Flight Software Engineer Intern at Lockheed Martin. During the internship, Sunny was involved in developing mission software for satellites, utilizing C and C++, and managing projects through CI/CD practices. Sunny has also held engineering positions at the University of Colorado Boulder, where significant contributions were made to nanosatellite attitude determination systems and automated flight data analysis tools. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Washington, a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, and a minor in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, complemented by early work experience in customer service roles.
