Walter Sharp

Walter Sharp is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in flight controls and simulation engineering. Currently serving as Engineer VII at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems since November 2009, Walter has held multiple roles, including Flight Controls and Simulation Engineering Supervisor, where responsibilities encompass developing flight simulation programs for UAV stability, crew training, flight test planning, and data analysis. Prior to this, Walter worked at Orbital Sciences Corporation from June 2004 to August 2009, focusing on guidance and control system design, and held various positions at Honeywell Engines Systems and Service from December 2001 to November 2003, specializing in control laws and dynamic modeling for gas turbine engines. Walter holds an MS in Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
