Anantha Krishnan is a highly accomplished leader in the field of engineering and energy research, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of the Energy Group at General Atomics since October 2020. Anantha has extensive experience from previous roles, including Associate Laboratory Director for Engineering at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from 2005 to 2020, where leadership encompassed a diverse organization focused on advanced engineering, R&D, and critical experiments. Prior to that, Anantha contributed to DARPA as a Program Manager, overseeing a significant technology portfolio, and held various positions at CFD Research Corporation, where responsibilities included managing R&D contracts from notable government and commercial organizations. Anantha holds a Doctor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University.
