Mrs. Wedad Almadani MSc, MPH is a seasoned professional in the fields of public health and epidemiology, currently serving as the Director of Population and Gender Statistics at the General Authority For Statistics since June 2021. Previously, Mrs. Almadani held the position of Senior Epidemiologist at the Saudi Health Council from January 2019 to May 2021 and worked as an Epidemiologist at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences from September 2002 to December 2018, where involvement included medical research and statistics as well as co-chairing the student research committee in the college of public health and health informatics. Mrs. Almadani earned a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences and a Master of Science in Total Quality Management in Healthcare from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
