Alexa Liautaud

Alexa Liautaud is a Partner at General Catalyst since August 2022, focusing on investments in various startups including Senra, Nominal, Helsing, Chariot Defense, Electio, and Evvy. In addition to the role at General Catalyst, Alexa serves as an investor for Senra Systems, Nominal, and Helsing, all starting in 2023. Previous experience includes roles in the investment teams at General Catalyst and Lightspeed Venture Partners, as well as serving as a correspondent for NBC News and a reporter for The Wall Street Journal, where recognition included the Daniel Pearl Award. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in History from Stanford University, a graduate degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and a Master of Science from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, complemented by high school education at Phillips Exeter Academy and Wycombe Abbey School in the UK.
