He served as Vice President and Associate Counsel from 2001 to 2004 and was Assistant Vice President and Associate Counsel from 2000 to 2001. Before joining GM Financial, Mr. Johnson served as in-house counsel at Mercedes Benz Credit and Chrysler Financial. Prior to that time, he was engaged in private legal practice primarily handling matters representing financial institutions.
