Laura Eakin, CIA, CFE, has over 20 years of experience in financial assurance and compliance audit roles. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Financial Assurance at GM Financial since November 2010, Laura has previously held several positions within the company, including Vice President of Financial Assurance and Compliance Audit. Prior to GM Financial, Laura worked at AmeriCredit from August 2003 to November 2010, progressing from Staff Auditor to Senior Auditor. Laura holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University, completed between 1998 and 2003.
