Abdou Deban is an experienced engineering professional with a career spanning over three decades, primarily at General Motors since August 1996. Abdou currently serves as an Engineering Group Manager, overseeing manufacturing execution and managing new tooling and processes for the T1XX program at Flint Assembly. Throughout the tenure at General Motors, Abdou has held various key roles including Subject Matter Expert for the Option Data Delivery System, where Abdou supported global implementation and training, and contributed to the Global Execution Group as the designer of the Global Hardware Cell Drawing for significant projects. Prior to this, Abdou worked as a Program Manufacturing Lead and Plant Engineer, enhancing equipment maintenance and quality reliability through innovative systems. Previously, Abdou held positions at Hill Rom Company as an Advanced Electrical Design Engineer and at LifeLine Biotechnologies, Inc. as Chief Engineer, where Abdou led R&D teams and established operations standards. Abdou holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
