Avinash Singh

Avinash Singh is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on electric motors and drive units. Currently serving as an Engineering Group Manager at General Motors, Avinash has held multiple leadership roles overseeing electric motors, starters, and advanced drive unit components. Additionally, Avinash contributes to the Gear Research Institute as a Member of the Board of Trustees and serves as an Associate Editor for the ASME Journal of Mechanical Design while chairing the ASME Power Transmission and Gearing Committee. Avinash holds a PhD and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University, completed between 1990 and 1997.
